Thermal Clip Fanart (Mass Effect)

The groundbraking "upgrade" in game mechanics that surprised the players in Mass Effect 2: Thermal Clips! Granted, they look pretty awesome, so I made a HD fan version! While I was at it, I tested some lighting setups that come with Andrew Price's "Pro-Lighting: Studio" add-on for Blender. Go check this guy out, he's amazing!

Shepard marvelled at the brand new assault rifle. The pinnacle of technology, still exuding a faint scent of laboratory.
"Where's the heat indicator..."
The scientists looked at each other, smiling conspiratorially.
"We removed it. There's no such thing as overheating anymore."
Shepard was visibly impressed.
"No more waiting for your weapon to cool down! All excess heat goes into a heat sink you simply eject when it gets too hot."
"So... you just went back to a system that basically resembles ammo clips."
"You can't stop progress", whispered the lead scientist and handed Shepard a bunch of Thermal Clips.
